THE EQUIPMENT BASICS
Understand the possibilities.
Reformers, towers, chairs, and barrels offer different ways to practice. The useful question is which has a purpose in yours.
Help me choose →01 / REFORMERS & TOWERS
A moving carriage. A different perspective.
A reformer combines a sliding carriage with spring resistance. A tower uses an upright frame with springs and attachments; some connect to a compatible reformer, while others have a dedicated base. Check exactly what is included and whether attachments are compatible.

02 / CHAIRS & BARRELS
Different forms, different uses.
A Pilates chair uses a spring-loaded pedal and may have handles. Barrels provide a curved support surface and do not work like spring-resistance equipment. A smaller piece still needs space to move around it, and unfamiliar equipment is best explored with qualified instruction.

Choose an addition with a purpose.
Small props can add variety without another large machine. Consider what you already use, what your instructor recommends, and whether an accessory fits your existing equipment. Confirm dimensions and compatibility before purchasing.
